Get Ready - MARTA is on the MOVE!

MARTA has kicked off a comprehensive system reengineering study called MOVE - which stands for Making Operations Very Efficient.

Why MOVE? Because it's what we do. Our core business is moving people throughout our service area and, with our partners, throughout the region.

The 18-month study will assess current operations and recommend changes to improve overall customer experience. It is designed to determine how MARTA can make the most of its existing resources to provide the best possible transportation service. MOVE is a results driven, action-oriented program that will outline near-term improvements that can be implemented quickly.

Public outreach will begin in March with a series of forums that are being designed to maximize the participation of our diverse communities and educate current and potential customers about the study and its objectives. Most importantly, the sessions will be interactive so that customers will have the opportunity to provide valuable input that will help us develop solutions.
